It’s been a long time since we’ve done a virtual makeover, but I felt in this case, the need was too dire to ignore. Carrie Prejean, the now-former Miss California, is the kind of celebrity who inspired me to create virtual makeovers in the first place.
Carrie’s a naturally beautiful girl, and I felt there was only one part of her that could use some improvement — her heart. The beauty queen tried to blame the scrutiny she was put under for breaking her contract by posing in nude photos on the fact that she expressed her views against same-sex marriage in the pageant. I’m all for expressing your opinion, but suggesting she’s being persecuted for her beliefs when she actually did give them a reason to fire her is just scapegoating.
In any event, Carrie’s no longer Miss California — Donald Trump, once her biggest supporter, has finally decided to fire Prejean for not “living up to her contractual obligations”. Seems to be a trend for her, eh? Maybe I should have given her a little work ethic in her makeover too.

i think that yes, she sold have been fired over her contractial breach but to condemn her for stating her beliefs is ridiculous. Yes i believe in gay marriage, but it’s a double edges sword for a person in the situation she was in, she could have said that she believes in gay marriage and offended those who do not and vice verse, but she tolf the truth about her bleiefs, the stupid question should not have been aske anyway its ridiculous, poor thing!
You make a good point, lovelylady – and I’m not trying to condemn her for stating her beliefs at all. I agree that they shouldn’t have asked about it at all.
Most of my problem with her comes from the fact that I felt that she essentially used that incident as a reason for why she was being “persecuted” and possibly losing her job – rather than the actual reason: that she violated her contract. I don’t think it’s responsible for a public figure to suggest that there’s a social issue we should be concerned with on the off chance that it allows her to keep doing cheesecake photo shoots.
