You asked and we delivered – more virtual makeovers! Today we’re going to give Mary Kate Olsen a little look revival. MK’s a beautiful girl, but her style makes her look older and too undone. Here’s what we did:
- Warmer colors. Mary-Kate’s hair and makeup colors made her look washed out, so we added golden and ginger tones to her hair and a dewy foundation all over.
- Side bangs! A good side part is the definition of sexy, flirty and young. We tossed some Cameron Diaz styled side bangs on Mary-Kate and the difference is amazing.
- Fun and young makeup. That dark brown under her eyes aged her, so we wanted to give MK’s makeup some life. Since Mary Kate is such a fashionista, we knew she wouldn’t live with Plain Jane makeup, so we used a bold purple eyeshadow to bring out her green eyes. We paired it with a cool pink lip color to contrast with the warmth of her hair and skin.

Fabulous! Too much yellow doesn’t look sunkissed it looks jaundiced – added red and pink tones add warmth and life. Fringes are cute but cut the length of the face so chubby faces should avoid them.

Was it a level 6, such as 6WG (warm gold.)

Yeah, I think it’s different tastes – I find myself putting my own preferences onto the ladies I virtually make over. They all end up with more golden-toned hair and brighter makeup
