It’s pretty clear to most everyone that Miss Winehouse needs a makeover, both of her looks and her life. (Insert obligatory “Rehab” joke here) But does anyone have anything constructive to say? Not to worry, Amy: Bunny’s here to help, not bash. See my mad Photoshop skills? That’s what Amy might look like if I were her stylist for a day. Here’s what she should do:
- Stop smoking. Cigarettes wreak havoc on your skin, and Amy’s is showing it. While you’re at it, I’m not saying she does anything specifically, but if she did, lay off the hard drugs too. These things are a surefire way to make you look old, tired, and give your skin a gray cast with huuuuuuuuuge pores.
- Ditch the lip ring. I understand Amy’s style is “rocker”, but the lip ring is more of a “I just woke up with this in my face” look.
- Tone down the cat eyes. I love black liquid liner, and would never ask Amy to give it up. But using a more flattering shape and pairing it with more polished lips and face makeup would make her sultry and classically sexy, not like she forgot to wash her face after Dita Von Teese’s birthday party. She can keep her rocker spirit by adding some more intense colors to her makeup.
- Chop off the beehive. I understand it’s her thing. The thing is, it’s a stupid thing. Ditch it and move on. It’s not 1965. (Besides, don’t you love my Kelly Kapowski take on her hair?)
I think these posts are fun, and I don’t see many other bloggers doing that kind of stuff. I think you should get a few of your readers to send in pictures and give them virtual makeovers. It would be interesting to see regular people!

yes, but now she looks indistinguishable from any other pop singer. you have to admit, her grungy-ness is part of her charm. it makes her a real rock star, not just a pampered doll.
I LOVE the makeover. Her extreme hair colour, tatooing and face shape ensure she is NEVER going to look like a pampered doll – but here, she looks positively pretty…at last!

It makes me sick how todays world trys to make people look how ever they want. Amy is unique and i love her. I think she is gorgeous the way she is.
