The Search for the Perfect Summer Lip Gloss

So since the summer is approaching, or for some of us is already here, I’m in the search for a super cute new lip gloss. Pale pink, shiny, perhaps a few sparkles..Just something to keep it low-key natural, but something that will pull together my look whether it be dramatic, or just a natural-bronze day at the beach,and without spending a fortune!

So yesterday, I tried out Rimmel London Sweet Jelly Sheer Lip Gloss in “Moreish.” Turns out, I didn’t see the word “sheer” until after I bought it. The slightly pink tinted gloss, which I hoped to give me the pink lips I desired, went on transparent. So, I lost that battle. But, it feels smooth on your lips and isn’t sticky. It’s not a high shine lip gloss, but it gives off enough shine to give you a finished look. If you’re going for a tinted lip color, I don’t recommend it, unless you’re wearing lipstick too.

All in all, it was a good buy, just not the one I was looking for. Until next time on the search of the perfect summer lip gloss..
