Few movies have more enviable style than The Devil Wears Prada, and snobbish first assistant Emily Blunt embodied the film’s couture essence with her bold makeup.
“I’ve never had a role with such fun beauty—I’ve done so many with natural makeup—so it’s great to be in one where you’re totally transformed,” says Blunt. “Emily stops at Runway’s beauty department a lot—she’s a product whore.” Here’s what products makeup artist Nicki Ledermann used on Emily:
- Make Up For Ever Face & Body Liquid Makeup, $38
- Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer, $40
- Dior 5-Colour Eyeshadow in #250 Seascape, $52
- Dior DiorShow Mascara in Black 090, $23
Blunt learned tons of makeup tricks on the set that she now applies to real life. “I now know to use purples to make my eyes look greener.” And her biggest tip: “Less is more—don’t pile on the foundation. You actually look older with more makeup.”
