Because of how many products I try, it’s very rare that one really gets my attention anymore. Athena’s 7 Minute Lift is one of the few that has succeeded in doing so. After seeing its slogan “Facelift in a Jar”, I assumed this was your typical glue-like moisturizer that might produce some results after 6 grueling weeks of daily use. Not so! Ladies, if you have wrinkles, sagging skin, laugh lines, or essentially any skin you’d like firmed and smoothed, you cannot miss out on this product.

Athena 7 Minute Lift is very different from any product I’ve ever tried. First of all, it’s not a cream so much as a thick gel - it comes with a concealer brush that you use to “paint” it onto your face and smooth problem areas. The product comes with detailed instructions on doing so, and even provides a Q&A of what to do if you have any number of problems with or questions about your results. Basically, you smooth it on the areas with sagging skin, lines, furrows, etc. and then try your best to remain motionless for seven minutes. (This was the toughest part for me.) Just try and feel relaxed and calm while you wait.

After it finished, I saw a noticeable difference in a variety of areas. Even though I’m young and don’t really need a facelift per se, I do have a couple of issues with some extra definition in the divot above my upper lip and some wrinklies on my neck. (Yes, I’m 22 with wrinkles. Shut up.) After using the Athena 7 Minute Lift, the divot above my upper lip looked smooth and youthful - and even seemed to make my lips appear plumper because of the smoothness! As well, the wrinkles on my neck and décolletage smoothed out and were MUCH less noticeable. I was absolutely amazed at the results.

Now my first thought was, “This is all well and good, but I want results forever!” And supposedly, Athena delivers that too! This cream is supposed to provide even more youthful results in 30, 60, and 90 days - according to the company, the organic ingredients in Athena have antioxidants that stimulate collagen production and protect skin from free radicals to reduce the signs of aging. I’ll keep using it and let you know, but for now I’m satisfied with getting this look every day after putting it on.

Athena 7 Minute Lift isn’t cheap - the two-month supply is $89. I know that sounds like a lot, but it’s a risk-free money back thing, and ladies, you will love it! There are some issues with applying - your skin may feel uncomfortably tight, but that feeling fades over time, and it’s much less noticeable if you apply less. As well, if you overapply you may see some excess white particles hanging around your face - just brush ‘em off with a wet washcloth. The included DVD has all the details, and I was impressed by how helpful they were.

The verdict: 5/5 stars! Ladies, you can’t skip this product - it’s fabulous for any older woman, especially those considering injections or surgery. It’ll make you think twice about spending your extra hard-earned cash on putting poison into your skin.

Athena 7 Minute Lift is available at 7minutelift.com for $89.

  1. i have got to get this!!

  2. How true, about trying so many products, so when a beauty blogger truly recommends something, my ears perk up. Thanks.

    btw, you are tagged.

Check out my blog for details.

  3. Thanks, Beckie! I’m afraid a lot of people won’t be persistent and careful with applying it, though. It’s sort of odd how you paint it on and wait, and though I’m willing to spend awhile “playing” with a new product to get it just right, many ladies aren’t.
