I’ll tell you a secret: I color my hair blonde at home. It’s a beauty no-no, I know – but to pay 6x less and come out with color that’s more like what I wanted to begin with, I’ll take it.
As such, I’m always searching for a great at-home color. Feria in Diamond Blonde is the best blonde I’ve found – it’s not too bright but not remotely ashy, a natural-looking warm color. The new standard in at-home color is to include a moisturizing conditioner to use after coloring, and Feria’s is thick, luscious and leaves my hair amazingly soft.
Feria claims to be “shimmer enhancing”, and my hair does look beautifully shiny after coloring; however, the effect could just be all the extra moisture from the included conditioner giving my hair body. Before this color, I’d continually highlighted my hair every month with a platinum color, and it eventually became an overyellowed Britney-esque shade. (Ew.) Now it’s a bright, beachy, natural-looking warm blonde, and I love it!
The verdict: 5/5 stars – the best at-home color I’ve found! Grab it in your color.
L’Oreal Feria Multi-Faced Shimmering Hair Color sells at Amazon.com for $10.51.

How can anyone believe you are actually using these products when you don’t post a picture of yourself with your hair in the new color that you’re raving about.
Until you do, most readers remain skeptical and suspect that you’re shill for the hair color companies.
You could greatly increase web-page traffic by including photos.
Lucinda,
At the time of this post, I had never spoken with any of L’Oreal’s PR representatives. I bought and paid for this color myself. I have many negative reviews of products as well, some of which are L’Oreal products.
Ironically enough, a few months later L’Oreal contacted me about sponsoring a Feria haircoloring party, for which me and my friends all took before and after photos: http://thebeautybunny.com/feria-party-before-and-after-photos/
I try and include photos when and where I can. I’m glad to see you are concerned about my traffic – so am I, as I do not and have not ever received payment for reviews from any beauty company whatsoever. FYI, as of December 1 the FCC is requiring bloggers to disclose their relationships with companies for whom they review products. At that time, myself and the other hundreds of beauty bloggers will be obligated to make it clear to you if our product reviews have been sponsored in any way.
Great photos!
