Redpoint Airbrush Effects BlushwhipMy fellow blogger Cailin recently hooked me up with a jar of RedPoint’s Airbrush Effects Blushwhip in Glow, a peachy-pink shade. At first glance I thought to myself, “this is going to get messy.” The crèmelike consistency of the product isn’t what I usually favor, but I’m not one to judge a product by its cover (only its coverage!)

Applied with your fingers, Redpoint Blushwhip is supposed to give a sheer, natural, radiant glow. I was impressed with the results. The color easily blended into my skin, making it look very natural. Because of the consistency, it did make me glow, rather than the more matte look you get with powder blushes. My complexion was flawless. It was a very satisfying experience, with only a couple of drawbacks.

The only things I found wrong with the product were pretty minor, one being that this stuff can be somewhat messy. It can often squish out of the container when you’re trying to close it, and it’s hard to keep the inside of the lid clean, which with me being OCD about that kind of thing can be kind of irritating. Another thing: in the summer months. my face is usually already oily and can get somewhat gross. I can see this being a product I would use more so in the winter months to avoid my face being too greasy and to help hydrate my dry skin (which it also suggests on the RedPoint website).

The verdict: 9/10!

All in all, the product is lightweight, easy to blend and creates a stunning finish. If anyone else has tried this product, I’d love to hear your opinions on it!

Redpoint Airbrush Effects Blushwhip is available on Redpoint’s website for $28.
