My Chanel foundation has turned me into a snob. I tried Rimmel’s new and improved version of Lasting Finish 16 HR Foundation with Minerals, fully expecting it to suck just because it’s from the drugstore. What’s happened to me? I used to be so open-minded…well, that and cheap. But this product managed to surprise me! The color (I used Soft Beige) matched my skin perfectly. The texture was creamy, but not too thick, and blended easily. The coverage is full but not at all fake-looking, and it somehow manages to look both matte and dewy. (Yeah, I know, what’s that about?) And as we speak, it’s lasting all day, even without finishing powder. Is that even possible? Most drugstore foundations are too sticky and disgusting to wear without powder, and rub off at every chance. Kudos, Rimmel! I knew you got Kate Moss somehow!
The verdict: 5/5 stars! That’s right. Five. Count ‘em.
Here’s a tip: don’t pick this baby up online: it’s hard to find in the newer, better formula. Instead, drive down to Walgreens or, even better, pick up the new issue of Elle magazine – it’s got a free sample inside and a $1 coupon for any Rimmel cosmetics product. Score!

I recieved several rimmal makeup items for my birthday. all was great accept for the rimmel lasting finish in soft beige, it looked like it was made wrong, it stung and the color bleed, please send me a coupon on mail me another bottle. I was never so dissapointed, marie antoinne 1712 w. comanche ave. tampa,fl 33603

I have used several Rimmel products and really like them. I purchased Rimmel Lasting Finish Mineral Powder Foundation but I have no idea how to apply this product. There are holes in the plastic base of the applicator but the powder doesn’t seem to get to the applicator through the holes. It doesn’t seem that you should dip the applicator into the powder, so as much as I would love to use this product, I have no idea how to. Some instructions with the packaging would have been helpful.
