Eyeshadow and anti-aging products are the beauty equivalent of chocolate and peanut butter: you don’t really expect them to go together, but when they do they’re a great combination.
Global Goddess I-Divine Eyecolor uses white tea’s antioxidant properties to stymie premature aging — an innovative inclusion for any eye makeup. I tried the shadows in the Malaika and Darjeeling shades, both of which maintain the line’s earth-toned Bollywood feel.
The packaging sports a decadent gold design congruous with the exotic theme, though it can be a bit flimsy. The eyeshadows went on smoothly and lasted well with minimal creasing. Each shade has a bit of shimmer, but nothing overly glam; they’re certainly wearable for daytime.
The verdict: 8 out of 10 — an exotic choice for youthful-looking lids.
Global Goddess I-Divine eye shadows are available for $18 each at Amazon.com, or you can snag two shades in the latest edition of Beautyfix!
