The Academy Award for Achievement in Makeup has gone to La Vie En Rose artists Didier Lavergne and Jan Archibald. Yayy! I have to say I agree after seeing Marion Cotillard on the red carpet before the show – she looks worlds different from her role as Edith Piaf. And by the way – although the real Marion was a vast improvement over pencil-thin mime brows, the sideswept hair and flared creme and gold-embroidered gown made her a wee bit too mermaid. Still, adorable!
