As reported on Egotastic today, Lindsay Lohan has recreated the last nude photo shoot of Marilyn Monroe for New York Magazine. I guess someone, somewhere told her this was a good idea (and that someone probably works for New York Magazine). I’ve added a sample of the attention-hoin’ pics to this post, chosen for its lack of nipples (yes, there are completely nude shots) and edited for some suggestive hipbone-pelvic-area content. What can I say, I guess I’m a prude.
Anyway, I understand that this is supposedly some tribute to Monroe’s beautifully undone and raw photos, but couldn’t we have worked on the freckles a little? I mean, seriously, she looks like a cheetah. A really desperate, malnourished cheetah. Someone clearly brought eyeliner and hairspray - was no concealer available? Airbrush? Anything? I’m all for authenticity, but Marilyn was a ripe 36 in her shoot. Lohan’s 21. I would have hoped any college-age babe would make sure her skin came out better in a magazine spread. However, it’s clear Lindsay understands that’s not the point of these pics.
