Now that summer’s here, your skin will be getting tons more sun exposure. Remember, protected skin creates beautiful skin! Follow these tips to keep summer skin healthy:
- Shower after swimming. Even if it’s just a rinse, showering will help remove chemicals and sea salts that accumulate on your body (both in the ocean and the pool) and dry out the skin.
- Wear a higher SPF on your face. Your facial skin is more delicate and shows imperfections more easily than the remainder of your body.
- Wear sunglasses. They’re fashionable and they protect your eye area from sun damage.
- Wear sunscreen right. Make sure it has both UVA and UVB protection. Apply 15 minutes before hitting the sun and reapply regularly.
