Hello, ladies! Well, this weekend may not be that eventful on The Beauty Bunny, as my husband and I are fleeing from Hurricane Ike. This meteorological behemoth is supposed to smash my house into little drippy bits tomorrow, and I’m not actually nearly as jovial about it as I seem. We’ve sought shelter at the inlaws’ house and I’ll do my best to keep on “mobile blogging” (though I have no idea how sitting in the living room here poking at my laptop is any more mobile than sitting on my couch at home poking at my laptop).

Cailin – with you! We left yesterday in the RV. Stayed in Hempstead last night, made it to Waco today. We’ll be here until safe to go back to Liverpool in Brazoria County. Daughter and granddaughters joined son and other friends in Houston – hopefully, a safe area … BE SAFE!!!!! Jo
