Great post, Cailin! This seems to be my general problem in pictures and many of my friends have the same troubles. Any suggestions for a slimmer looking upper arm?

I love articles like this that make it easy for a normal woman to feel that she has a little more control over how she appears in photos. I don’t know about you, but I dread taking pictures and I think these tips will maybe help to alleviate some of my fears the next time I have to! :D

For slimmer arms try eating less and doing push-ups.

Was that necessary? No need to be an ass.

Nice Tips! I also struggle with taking a good photo, especially as I age. I will share this article in the next article I publish on my blog that pertains to wedding photograpy.

For a slimmer arm in photos, hold your arms slightly away from your body. They tend to fatten up because they’re pressed against our sides.

I’m curious about making my face look less round in photos. It’s just when I smile I get a little pudge all around my cheeks and chin (not a double, just some chub).

Aww man, every time I smile it either looks forced and fake or like a happy gay idiot.

for slimmer looking upper arms, the trick is to move them behind the body…ie further away from the camera (things close to the camera appear large, just as thing away from the camera appear smaller) so for example, you could put your hand on your hip, and push your elbow (and you shoulder a bit) back

    Great tips by the way!
