You may have heard that Stacey Ferguson, AKA Fergie, is MAC’s latest Viva Glam spokeswoman. Well, Fergie’s remix of the hit “Glamorous” (called “Viva Glamorous”, recorded with PoetNameLife) is available for FREE download for a limited at MAC’s website. Also, check out the Viva Glam E-cards! They’re also only free for a limited time, and while the MAC Aids Fund message is a little sobering compared to the “Happy Bird-Day!” E-cards I usually pass along, awareness isn’t too shabby. Plus, there’s a cute pic of Fergie Ferg all MAC-ed up.
Also, Fergie is encouraging everyone to pick up a M.A.C VIVA GLAM VI Limited Edition Lipglass while you’re there. Its sales benefit the Global Youth Prevention Initiative in the fight against AIDS. The glossy glossy! (C’mon, you knew that joke was coming.)
I just love this partnership. First of all, the MAC Aids Fund is a great cause, and I’m glad to see celebs using their fame for the better. Second, don’t you think Fergie’s perfect for a MAC girl? She’s bold, trendy, dramatic, fun, yet still super feminine. Brazenly woman, perhaps. And that’s MAC cosmetics to a T, in my book.
