Fashion Week Makeup: MAC for Nicole Miller

Fashion Week has arrived, and MAC Cosmetics is responsible for a whole host of beautiful looks from the runway. Here’s what they did for designer Nicole Miller:

“It’s a sophisticated classic smoky eye, but in blue,” says creator James Kaliardos. “Think more Chanel 1980 than Blade Runner.”

FACE MAKEUP:

1. Use MAC Taupe Blush to contour cheekbones.
2. Blend Pearl Cream Colour Base down the bridge of the nose to highlight.
3. Brush Tahitian Sand Beauty Powder onto cheeks for a warm glow.
4. Apply Lilicent Blushcreme to the center of lips and brush outward for a soft, diffused edge.

EYE MAKEUP:

1. Brush Omega Eye Shadow into the base of the brow to slightly strengthen eyebrow shape.
2. Apply Marine Blue Ultra Paint Stick to eyelids and up through the crease of the eyes as a base.
3. Wash Freshwater Eye Shadow over the lids and along the lower lashline, extending slightly past the eyes’ outer corners.
4. Layer Atlantic Blue Eye Shadow over the paint stick in the crease and at the eyes’ inner and outer corners.
5. Touch Pearl Cream Colour Base onto inner corners of eyes to highlight.
