Beauty’s already getting artsy with MAC makeup and Logics hair products; why shouldn’t fragrance follow? KENZO has teamed with designer Ron Arad for their new scent Unidentified Fragrance Object. Aurélien Guichard’s exquisite fragrance rejects the traditional olfactory pyramid and instead balances a powerful heart with four natural ingredients. The UFO bottle designed by Arad is currently on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Only 1,000 of these unique hand-polished bottles will be produced for the US!
Top notes: orange blossom, Bulgarian rose

Base notes: Vanilla

Many of you are probably aware that stress is one of the primary causes of premature skin aging. So when we start stressing over our skin, it’s time to stop the cycle and take action! Luckily, 3Lab’s M Cream with stress-relieving nutrients is here to help.
I gave this baby a shot myself, and was entertained by the colorful ingredients list:
- Swiss apple stem cells
- Happybelle, a phyto-endorphin
- Osilift, an oat-derived anti-wrinkle nutrient
- Nano-Claire GY, a bio-engineered growth hormone

Well ladies, the worst is over. We’re well into April, the dreaded Tax Day has passed — now we have only to enjoy spring while it lasts. Enter FlowerByKENZO Spring, a sparkling floral fragrance available for a limited time this season.
Top notes: ginger, mandarin, lychee
Heart notes: freesia, ylang ylang, parma violet
Base notes: incense, white musk
The original Flower By KENZO is one of my favorite scents of all time, so I was itching to try the new spring version. One of the best things about KENZO fragrances: their packaging is always a work of art. This fragrance’s bottle curves like Winter Flowers and sports a similar poppy, but is encased in frosted glass.

Eyeshadow and anti-aging products are the beauty equivalent of chocolate and peanut butter: you don’t really expect them to go together, but when they do they’re a great combination.
Global Goddess I-Divine Eyecolor uses white tea’s antioxidant properties to stymie premature aging — an innovative inclusion for any eye makeup. I tried the shadows in the Malaika and Darjeeling shades, both of which maintain the line’s earth-toned Bollywood feel.

I very rarely use hairspray, or for that matter any hair products that change the texture of my hair once it’s dry. I simply enjoy the luxurious feeling of soft, clean hair so much that I can’t bear to weigh it down with a bunch of silicon. When the time arises where my hair needs a little help staying in place, I prefer products with a lightweight finish like Jonathan Product Finish Control Hairspray.
Since I have thick hair, it generally takes a team of skilled professionals armed with rubber cement and fishing line to make my locks stay in place — and I can kiss my dreams of looking natural goodbye. That isn’t the case with this hairspray: it delivers a flexible hold that doesn’t weigh down hair. Plus, its all-vegan formula uses no animal by-products, so you PeTA lovers needn’t worry you’re sacrificing Flipper to your pin curls.

Who doesn’t look better after a few drinks? While Glowelle’s 7-Day Powder Drink Mix Kit doesn’t contain any alcohol, it does claim to pump up your beauty factor sans beer goggles. Ever the guinea pig, I put the innovative ingestable to the test and got my drink on.
While the concept of drinking your way to hotness sounds strange, it makes sense when you think about it. Certain vitamins and nutrients are proven to improve hair, skin and nails — why couldn’t they be added to a drink?

Isn’t it amazing how far sunless tanning technology has come? I remember when every faux tanner adventure resulted in me smelling like old popcorn and looking like an oil painting someone left out in the rain. Luckily, that was not the case with Bella Bronze’s Golden Chamomile & Goats’ Milk Sunless Tanner and Olive Oil & Shea Butter Tan Extender.
My favorite feature of this self-tanner: the color was perfect. It gave my skin a warm, sunkissed glow. Plus, its natural ingredients made the scent more bearable than most self-tanning lotions. I did experience some minor streakage on my calves, but the tan extender includes a touch of sunless tanner that helps to blend any splotches in with the adjacent tan, and my streaks disappeared after using it.
