The recent vampire craze will undoubtedly intersect with this year’s Halloween — and if you’re the feminine type, why not pick a bloodsucker whose costume is a sundress? Enter Jessica, whose name I have had to remind myself of by Googling “whiny redheaded vampire from True Blood” twice now. (Yes, twice.)
While her name may not be memorable (the actress is Deborah Ann Woll, by the way), her classy pulled-back curls sure are! Here’s how to score them yourself at home for a tasty look on Halloween:

Halloween is fast approaching and for beauty junkies like myself, there’s no Halloween makeup look more appropriate than that of the original queen of makeup, the female pharoah famed for bringing kohl eyeliner into vogue: Cleopatra.
The inimitable Elizabeth Taylor embodied the Egyptian queen’s spirit in the epic 1963 film Cleopatra with a bold makeup look that was both regal and exotic. Here’s how to copy this classic, daring look at home so you can steal the show and stand out in a sea of costume-in-a-bag Marilyn Monroes at your Halloween party this year:

For promoting a film called The Ugly Truth, star Katherine Heigl sure sported some pretty hair. Austin, Texas-based celebrity stylist Alan Ruiz calls the look “a messy, disheveled updo with lots of texture” and offered Glamour some tips on recreating this style yourself:
- Use a nickel-size amount of a liquid non-hardening gel like Aveda Confixor Liquid Gel on wet hair.
- Turn your head upside down and blow-dry with a paddle brush in a downward motion so that you get lots of va-va-voom volume at the root.
- Once the hair is dry, use a large curling iron to create a few loose, gentle waves, especially on the sections that edge the forehead.
- Next, take a dab of wet styling lotion like Aveda Volumizing Tonic and apply it by “scrunching” through the hair. This gives hair a subtle wet look while maintaining the sexy body we’veĀ created.
- Pull or pin the rest of your hair into a soft chignon. “I think this is the perfect evening beach-chic look–cool and elegant with body, but the wet effect keeps it casual,” Ruiz raves.

On a list of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, Eva Longoria Parker doesn’t need a number — she’s the reason you write the list. Her enchanting looks can’t all be credited to her flawless genetics, though: even frustratingly gorgeous celebs like Eva need a little help from their makeup artist friends.
Here’s a step-by-step guide how to get Eva’s makeup look yourself at home:

I was loving the young, playful makeup and hair Twilight starlet Kristen Stewart sported at this year’s MTV Movie Awards, so I decided to give you guys a few tips on recreating her look! Here’s how to do it step-by-step:
Step I: Face Makeup
- Apply a sheer foundation or tinted moisturizer like Stila Sheer Color all over your face. We want to keep your skin’s natural beauty showing through — that’s the best way to keep your look young.
- Dab a subtle bronzer at the base of your cheekbones, then blend forward lightly. This replaces the need for blush to enhance your color, keeping the look pale without it being Edward Cullen-pale!

Yet another reason to hate Gisele Bundchen: that frustratingly gorgeous wavy hair she’s always tossing around in our faces. Want perfectly imperfect waves like Gisele’s? Here’s a guide on getting wavy with it:
YOU’LL NEED:
- A wide-toothed comb;
- A medium-sized curling iron (think 1″ barrel-ish);
- Some leave-in conditioner to set your hair; and
- A pack of bobby pins. (If you have to buy some, get the ones that match your hair color. It’s not necessary for this style, but they’re useful in general.)

What can wake up your face and make you look younger, sexier, and even happier in an instant? Blush, of course! Here’s a guide on applying blush the right way:
Applying Blush For Your Face Shape
- Oval: Sweep color up toward your temples, like a Nike swoosh.
- Round: Add definition by applying blush at a 45-degree angle, following your cheekbones.
- Square: To soften your jaw line, apply blush in small circles, focusing on the apples of your cheeks.
- Long: Balance out length with more horizontal strokes of blush. Keep the strokes wide and blend well to avoid the “warpaint” look.
