YOU’LL NEED:

  • A wide-toothed comb;
  • A medium-sized curling iron (think 1″ barrel-ish);
  • Some leave-in conditioner to set your hair; and
  • A pack of bobby pins. (If you have to buy some, get the ones that match your hair color. It’s not necessary for this style, but they’re useful in general.)

Woman Applying BlushWhat can wake up your face and make you look younger, sexier, and even happier in an instant? Blush, of course! Here’s a guide on applying blush the right way:

Applying Blush For Your Face Shape
  • Oval: Sweep color up toward your temples, like a Nike swoosh.
  • Round: Add definition by applying blush at a 45-degree angle, following your cheekbones.
  • Square: To soften your jaw line, apply blush in small circles, focusing on the apples of your cheeks.
  • Long: Balance out length with more horizontal strokes of blush. Keep the strokes wide and blend well to avoid the “warpaint” look.

  3. Apply a foundation-matching concealer to undereye circles, blemishes & discoloration.
  4. Lightly dust loose translucent powder over your face to set the foundation.
  5. Dab a dusty rose blush into the base of cheekbones and blend forward onto the apples of your cheeks.
