Cameron Diaz was one of the shining celebs to walk the Red Carpet at this year’s Academy Awards. Celebrity hairstylist Lona Vigi styled Cameron for the event, and along with her tips, we’ve created a great guide on how you can get this look at home. Here’s what you’ll need to recreate Cameron Diaz’s glamorous hairstyle yourself:

• Rollers
• Blow dryer with cool button and on/off switch for ionics
• Medium round bristle brush
• Volumizer
• Pin curl clips

1. Shampoo and condition hair as you normally would. After towel drying the hair, set the entire head in rollers. (Psst: Don’t sit under a dryer or anything – we’re taking care of that in a minute.)
2. Spray on a volumizer. Don’t take those rollers out!
3. First blow dry the hair with ionics turned off, volumizing by taking small sections of hair and using a medium round bristle brush to dry the hair back and up using high velocity and heat. (Stylist Lona Vigi used the Velecta Paramount Paris TGR 4000i blow dryer on Cameron.)
4. Next, “set” the hair and give it a boost of shine by turning on both the ionics switch and cool button to lock in curls and add a polished shine.
5. Finally, free those curls and hold each one in place with a pin curl clip.
6. Wait a few minutes, then brush out the hair, created a loose, soft wave pattern. Bring one side behind the ear and the other forward toward the face.
7. Finish with a light misting of hairspray.

Trekkies, rejoice: Star Trek has won its first Oscar ever, and it’s in the Makeup category! The newest film in the franchise was honored at last night’s Academy Awards. Star Trek was nominated in four categories, but won only for Makeup.

Star Trek stars Chris Pine and Zoe Saldana also presented at the event; Ben Stiller presented the honorees with the award dressed as a Na’vi from James Cameron’s Avatar. A little cheesy, but they did a nice job on his makeup, don’tcha think?

Beyonce may sport killer heels while repping single ladies everywhere, but her tootsies apparently pay for it.

The reigning queen of pop-hop says, ”My feet take beatings…So I try to take care of them. I use this blue foot sleeve from Bliss Spa.” (Beyonce’s talking about Bliss Softening Socks, which help heal those heels and dry, cracked feet during the cold winter months.) ”It’s kind of like a sophisticated version of putting your feet in Vaseline and sleeping in socks,” Beyonce laughs, “but it helps!”

Sounds like somebody shoulda read our guide on getting soft, pretty feet…but then again, if I had to pick a body part of Beyonce’s to steal, her feet wouldn’t even make the top 10. Who’s with me?

As usual, MAC makeup is abound at this spring’s Fashion Week in New York City. MAC artist Charlotte Tilbury developed the vampy look to the left for Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. runway. “The feeling was 1930’s prostitute — trampy, smoky eye, deep ‘rougeoir’ lips and beautiful pale skin,” raves Charlotte.

Here’s exactly what Charlotte did so you can copy the look to a T and score the style for your Halloween debut as any character from The Black Dahlia:

EYES:

• MAC Eye Kohl in Smolder and Fluidline in Blacktrack – blended and smudged around and into the eyelid for a feline-shaped eye.
• MAC Lip Treatment – dabbed on eyelid over eye kohl for a wet look effect.

FACE:

• MAC Face and Body Foundation – applied all over face to give pale, doll-like skin.

LIPS:

• MAC Lipmix in Crimson and Burgundy – blended together and applied to the lip. (Note: the Crimson shade is available at Pro stores only)
• Lip Pencil in Burgundy – applied around the lip to give an over-drawn shape to the mouth.

It’s a sort of “unsmoky” smoky eye that works for daytime. Glamour’s beauty bloggin’ babes first took note of her penchant for the look, and provided us with a guide on how to steal it yourself and win the heart of your favorite Halo champ this Valentine’s Day:

1. If you have dark undereye circles, cover them up with some concealer before continuing. Smoky does not equal sleepy.
2. Next, line your upper lashline with black eyeliner.
3. Then, smear a little cream bronze eyeshadow around your eyes. Almay Bright Eyes Eye Shadow should have the perfect shade for your skin tone — and it’s awesomely inexpensive to boot.
4. Finally, dust a little rose shadow like the lighter hue of Clinique’s Colour Surge Shadow Duo in Victorian Pink in the folds of your upper eyelids for shading.

Who says moisturizing isn’t manly? Not male celebrities James Franco or Joseph Gordon Levitt. These boys both got comfy with their manhood at the Sundance film festival this year as makeup artist Jordan Long used Votre Vu Habitude Men’s Daily Face Crème with SPF 15 on the actors. Long said of the product: “This provided nice moisture to their skin in the dry climate without being overly greasy and the SPF protected them from the elements during their long days outside.”
