Sarah Jessica Parker’s makeup artist Judy Chin dished on the makeup she used for Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex and the City movie. (Please applaud my restraint in not naming this post “Sex and the Pretty”…it was oh so tempting.) Chin used these MAC products:
- Powerpoint Eye Pencil in Engraved: “I tried to keep her eyes the focus by creating a strong yet natural lashline.”
- MAC Blot Powder
- MAC Paint Pots
- MAC Fluidline Eye Liner Gel
- MAC Mascara X: “I always framed her eyes with beautiful lashes.”
“One thing I always wanted present was a natural beauty that didn’t look like makeup,” Judy said. “A healthy rosy flush to her cheeks, a soft mouth and clean healthy skin that had a natural glow and shine.” Judy used a cream blush that she could layer and blend easily, and moved away from the matte look. “I used lightweight foundation that gave a dewy finish and incorporated that with using concealer only where I needed it.”
