Maria’s 3 Good Skin Rules
- Drink lots of water with lemon. Dehydration isn’t pretty.
- Don’t be a clean machine, or you could dry out your skin. In the mornings, I just splash on water.
- Nourish your face! I like this Vitamin E cream that I get for like 99 cents in the drugstore. My mom’s used it and her wrinkles are nonexistent.
Maria’s Cheap Makeup Tips
- Make your makeup do double duty. I’ll use blush as a lipstick, or lipstick as a blush.
- To completely eliminate upper lip fuzz, nothing beats the power of Nair. Honest.
- Get more mileage from your lipstick: First dab on foundation, then powder, then liner, then lipstick.
- Curl your lashes on no-frills days for an instant, cheap pick-me-up.
